STAGE AND PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS 2008

1.        PARKING: Purchaser shall provide a parking space (approx. 85' x 12') for (1) forty five foot (45')        bus with a sixteen foot (16') trailer close to the stage door.  The back end of the trailer must be        kept clear to facilitate full access. Promoter will provide a Shore Line service to bus (see Power        requirements).

2.        TRANSPORTATION / RUNNER: Purchaser will provide a fifteen (15) passenger van with driver to transport band to and from hotel and to run errands as directed by Artist Tour/Production Manager. All drivers must be knowledgeable of the areas surrounding the engagement and posses a valid drivers license and insurance. An additional vehicle will be required for airport pick ups and drop offs on fly dates, due to additional luggage and instruments.

3.        PRODUCTION OFFICE: A production office for use by Artist Tour and Production Manager must be provided.  This room should have at least one phone line, WIFI access, a desk with chairs, and be well lit, air conditioned or heated, and clean. 

4.        DRESSING   ROOM:  In many cases the Artists prefer the use of the bus for a dressing room.  In the event that bus parking is not close enough to the stage to facilitate this then the Purchaser agrees to provide a comfortable and private dressing room, adequate for use by twelve (12) persons during the Artist's entire performance. This room should be clean, dry, well-lit, heated or air-conditioned, equipped with a full length mirror and four (4) electrical outlets, with seating for twelve (12) persons and shall be within easy access to clean lavatories.  Purchaser shall be solely responsible for the security of items in the dressing area and shall keep all unauthorized persons from entering said area.  The dressing room shall be lockable and the Tour/ Production Manager should be provided with a key upon arrival to the venue. This room is also where back stage hospitality should be set up.

5.        STAGE AND DRUM RISERS: purchaser must provide a SAFE, SECURE, and COVERD        STAGE AND TWO (2) DRUM RISERS.  The stage and riser surface must be level, clean and        free of holes. Minimum Stage dimensions will be forty (40') feet wide, thirty two (32') feet deep,        and four (4') feet high.  Solid step units must be provided for both sides of the stage.  STAIRS        MUST        BE ATTACHED AND LIGHTED. 
       Risers minimum size is eight (8’) feet wide, eight (8’) feet deep and twenty-four (24) inches high        and has a solid step unit included.

6.        PERSONNEL:  The following personnel must be available upon scheduled load in time on the day of the engagement. Please allow a minimum of two (2) hours following the Performance to strike and reload equipment. 
       Four (4) stagehands to load in and out equipment.
       One (1) electrician familiar with the house system.
       One (1) house rigger if needed
       Two (2) sound engineers familiar with system.
       One (1) lighting director.
       One (1) lighting technician.
       One (1) runner.
7.        LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS: Purchaser will provide a first class professional lighting system.         Wherever possible this system should be flown.  The downstage truss must be positioned a        minimum of four (4') feet out from the leading edge of the stage and be able to reach a trim height        of twenty (20') feet from stage level.  The upstage truss should be hung a minimum of Twenty six        (26') feet upstage from the front edge of the stage and be able to a trim height of twenty (20') feet        from stage level.
       *Note:  Light company is responsible for advancing, load-in logistics, power and accessibility, and        hanging        complexities, as system requires.  If there are problems, which make you unable to        facilitate Artist's        requirements, please contact Artist Tour/ Production Mgr. immediately.
       A)  Instruments: Two 40' Trusses with sixty (60) Par 64 fixtures on each, six (6) ACL bars        mounted on upstage truss, eight (8) Source Four ellipsoidal on downstage truss and two (2)        Mole Fays for audience lights. All Par 64 fixtures (except ACL's) must be loaded with 1000-        watt bulbs. Source Four pars an acceptable substitute.

       B) Backdrop:  A black backdrop must be provided, run the full width of the stage and be treated        to meet        with any and all local fire codes. FOR ALL OUTDOOR SHOWS: Promoter will        provide 4 (9’ X 12’) waterproof tarps or 2 rolls of heavy visqueen.

       C)  Cables:   All cables which are to be put in the air must be black and neatly trimmed to pipes or        truss. Any cables on the ground must be covered with mats or run in cable ramps if they cross any        traffic areas.

       D)  Console:   48-Channel minimum. Leprecon LP 2000, Avolites Sapphire or Pearl

       E)  Spotlights:  Four (4) Long throw follow spots, in perfect working condition (Super Troopers or        Lycians) Four (4)         operators are needed and will be available one (1) hour prior to show time.


8.        SOUND SPECIFICATIONS: Artist travels with their own In Ear monitor system.  This includes        console,        processing, all microphones, stands and cables. In the event that this is a flying date see        Section IV  "Fly        Date Requirements.”
*Note:  Sound Company is responsible for advancing, load-in logistics, power and accessibility, and hanging complexities, as system requires.  If there are problems which make you unable to facilitate Artist's requirements, please contact Artist Tour/ Production Mgr. immediately.

A)        Speaker System: House sound system must be of professional quality and be sufficient in size and power handling to provide even and total coverage to 100% of sold seating.  The system must provide full range coverage from 40hz to16khz and be able to deliver dynamics peaks to 120 decibels. System must include front fill cabinets for center fill with separate EQ and level control as well as Subs must be able to operate from an aux send.  Please also provide a mono mix of side fills, including amps, processing and EQ for use on stage as a supplement to our monitor rig.

B)        Console:  Minimum requirements, 40 inputs, 8 VCA groups, 8 aux sends (Midas XL-3 or XL-200, Soundcraft Series 5 or Vienna II, Yamaha PM 4000 or PM 3000). This console is for The Outlaws only and will not be shared with Support Talent unless pre-approved by Artists Tour/ Production Mgr.

C)        Outboard Gear: 
       -Three (3) digital reverb units (REV 5, REV 500, SPX 990, PCM 80  )
       -One (1) digital delay ( D2, SDE 330)
-Twelve (12) comp./limiters
       -Four (4) noise gates
       -Three (3) 1/3-octave equalizers for L, R, & front fill (Klark Technic, BSS) 
       
D)        Communications: One Clear-Com or comparable system with three (3) stations, all with handsets.  One (1) handset at stage right monitors, one (1) handset at front of house, one (1) handset stage left at guitar tuning station.

E)        Snake:  Forty (40)-input transformers isolated splitter and snake system.  Input box must live within twenty feet (20') of the Artist monitor console and snake must be long enough to reach the house mix position without creating a hazard to the audience. Anyplace the snake must cross access areas it must be covered with mats or run in cable ramps.

F)        Monitors:  If there is any Support Talent on this event a complete monitor system to fulfill their requirements must be provided.  This must include console, Eq’s, all mics, stands, cables and wedges.  

3.        ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

A)        Lighting:  *Note: Requirements vary for different venues, specific requirements should be determined with lighting contractor working this event.
       -One 600 amp 3 phase service (5 wire)
-The power source must be within 50 feet of upstage center and separate from all other sources.
       
B)        Sound:  *Note: Requirements vary for different venues, specific requirements should be  determined with sound contractor working this event.
       -One 200 amp 3 phase service (5 wire)
       -Separate transformer service and earth ground
-Power to be located within 50 feet of upstage left

C)        Stage Power: Monitor system requires two (2) separate 20 amp circuits terminated to        Edison connectors and stage requires two (2) separate twenty (20) amp circuits terminated to        double gang Edison boxes in 3 locations each.
       
       D)        Bus: One 100 amp single phase  (4 wire) 50 amps per leg for  (1) bus

E)        Voltage: Voltage shall vary no more than 5% when full current is drawn.

F)        Electrician: Building electrician required at stage call and throughout the day.
The cost of this service shall be the sole responsibility of the Purchaser.


SECTION  IV  -  FLY DATE REQUIREMENTS
In the event that the Artist is required to fly or is unable to use their production the following production requirements must be met in addition to all the items in section III.

1.        MONITOR SYSTEM:

       A)        Console:  Minimum requirements, 40 inputs, 18 mixes (Midas XL-250, Soundcraft                        Series 5 or SM20, Yamaha PM 4000, Ramsa 840, Crest LM ).

B)        Processing:
               -Three (3) digital reverbs ( Yamaha REV 500, SPX 990 or spx 900)
               -Eight (8) comp. / limiters ( DBX, Drawmer, BSS)

       C)        IEM Monitors:
               -Six (6) stereo mixes of in ear monitors (Shure 600, Shure 700, Sennhieser 300/G2)
               of the six (6) mixes, 4 must be wireless, the remaining two (2) can be hardwired packs.


D)        Microphones & DI's:
               -One  (1) EV N/D 868 or comparable microphone
               -Four (4) EV N/D 468 or 408 w/ drum mounts or comparable microphones
               -Four (4) EV RE 200 or comparable microphones
               -Two (2) EV N/D 478 or comparable microphones
               -Two (2) EV N/D 767 or comparable microphones
               -Four (4) EV RE2 RF microphones w/ 410 capsules or comparable  RF microphones
               -Eight (8) Countryman DI's or comparable DI’s

2.        INSTRUMENTS:  All Items on this list are for the sole use of the Artist. The Artist’s representative must approve any substitutions to this list in advance.

A)        Guitar amps
-One (2) Classic 30 Amp and Classic 2x12 cabinet, or Fender Blues Deville
-One (2) Fender Twin

B)        Bass amp
-One (1) Trace Elliot AH100-12 Amp Head
               -One (1) Trace Elliot 4x10 cabinet
-One (1) Trace Elliot 1x15 cabinet
-2nd choice - Ampeg SVT amp (8x10") with an SVT head

C)        Drums: One complete set of drums (Yamaha, Pearl or DW) with all the hardware required for set up.  Drum set and hardware should be in like new condition with new heads on each drum.  Please include a drum key.
-One (1) 22": Kick drum (must have muffling pad and a hole in front head to facilitate mic).
-One (1) 10" rack mount tom (must have new Remo Ambassador heads)
-One (1) 12" rack mount tom (must have new Remo Ambassador heads)
               -One (1) 16" Floor Tom (must have new Remo Ambassador head)
               -Two (2) 14" Snare Drum (must have new Remo Ambassador head)
               -Four (4) boom style cymbal stands
               -One (1) 14” Hi-Hat Cymbal and stand
               -Two (2) snare stands
               -One (1) drum throne without backrest
               -Double kick drum pedals
               -Cymbals – (1) Zildjian 20” ride, (1) 16” crash (1) 17” crash, (1) 10” splash

       D)        Keys:
               -One (1) Yamaha P250, or P200 with stand and pedals
               -One (1) Hammond B3 w/ Leslie Speaker Cabinet, if a B3 is not available a Hammond                         XB2 w/ stand is an acceptable substitute

       E).        Miscellaneous Equipment:
               -Eight (8) Guitar stands
               -Eight (10) Instrument cables (25’)


The Outlaws also require one qualified equipment technician to assist in setting up and maintenance if needed.
